Rain

The past three days were really quite nice. In fact, we even saw the sun for a while. But, it rained today. Any do you want to know why?

No, not because this is England (but that was a good guess).

No, not because I forgot my umbrella (also a good guess, but I had my umbrella with me today).

It rained for the simple fact that I have outside duty both during break and after school on Thursdays. Ever since the new duty roster (or 'rota') was printed three weeks ago, it has not failed to rain on Thursdays.

At least it was just a spitting, drizzling rain rather than a downpour.
